Where the limits actually are
No quota on our side
Autograding fires on every student push. We set no run quota and charge nothing per run. The workflow itself runs in GitHub Actions on the student's own repo: free for public repos, while private cohorts draw on your GitHub organization's Actions allowance, so that allowance is the one budget worth watching.
AI limits, stated plainly
Managed plans include a monthly allotment of AI explanations: 5,000 on Starter, 15,000 on Pro, 40,000 on Scale. A run where every test passes never uses one. Go over and the feedback keeps coming; extra explanations are metered at under one cent each on your next invoice.
The cap you set yourself
The only cap on grading runs is the resubmission limit you set per assignment (10 attempts by default, raise it or remove it). Reaching it returns a clear error on the run, so a student can see why the run stopped instead of guessing.
Prices shown in USD. Sales tax or VAT is added at checkout based on your country. Stripe handles tax compliance as merchant of record.
Questions
Do students pay anything?
No. Only the instructor or their department subscribes. Students work in their own free GitHub repos.
Is there a grading quota that can stop my class?
Not on our side. We set no monthly cap on autograding runs and charge nothing per run. Two limits are worth knowing about, and both are yours: the per-assignment resubmission cap you set, which returns a visible error when a student reaches it, and, for private cohorts, your GitHub organization's own Actions allowance, because the grading workflow runs there. Public repos use free Actions minutes.
What happens if I use up my AI explanations?
Nothing stops. Each tier includes a monthly allotment (5,000 on Starter, 15,000 on Pro, 40,000 on Scale) and a run where every test passes never uses one. If a heavy month goes over, feedback keeps flowing and extra explanations are metered at under one cent each.
What does support look like?
You email hello@coderin90.com and a person who builds the product replies within one business day, usually faster during term time. No ticket queue, no bot.
Which plan am I on?
Your plan follows the peak number of active students across your cohorts in a month. Cross a cap and you move up the next month.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Monthly plans stop at the next billing cycle. Nothing charges until your 2-week trial ends and you choose to continue.
